STEVEN A. ADAMS

Funeral services celebrating the life of Steven Anthony Adams, 65, of West 
Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at New Chapel Hill Baptist 
Church in West Monroe with Rev. Patrick Petrus and Rev. Clovis Sturdivant 
officiating. Interment will be in New Chapel Hill Cemetery, under the 
direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA

Visitation will be from 4:30 until 7:30 P.M. Tuesday at New Chapel Hill 
Baptist Church.

Steve died June 4, 2017 at his residence after a brief illness.

Steve was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church, where he served on the 
Finance, Welcoming, and Cemetery Committees. He retired from Entergy in 2014 
after 44 years of service, as a Lineman and an Operations Coordinator. He 
loved traveling with his wife, Tammy and spending time with his 
grandchildren, Riley and Avery Kate.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jean Adams and 
brother, Patrick Adams.

Survivors: his wife of 18 years, Tammy Brister Adams; Son, Rodney Adams of 
Memphis, TN; Daughter, Robin Adams of Little Rock, AR; Step-son, Patrick 
Petrus and wife, Wendy of West Monroe, LA; Brothers, Mike Adams of Mt. Ida, 
AR and Mark Adams and wife, Debbie of Hot Springs, AR; Grandchildren, Isaiah 
Lewis, Riley Petrus, and Avery Kate Petrus; Father and Mother-in-law, Buck 
and Bobbie Brister; Sister-in-law, Sheila Adams; Sister-in-law and Brother-
in-law, Karen and Roy Courville; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and 
nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tim Martin, Ben Bridges, Dewey Wood, Todd Lawrence, Joe 
Hatten, and K. C. Reed.

Memorials may be made to the New Chapel Hill Church Cemetery Fund or Pilots 
for Patients (www.pilotsforpatients.org)
