GARCIA, VIDA CHENEY “JUNE”

Vida Cheney “June” Garcia 87 of Denham Springs died at 7:30 pm on Thursday, 
Nov 12, 2009 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Denham Springs.  She was a 
native of Lafayette and a homemaker.

Visitation was held at Christian Freedom Center in Walker on Monday, Nov 16, 
2009.  Gravesider services were held at Lafayette Protestant Cemetery.

She is survived by a son and his spouse, three grandchildren,  and three great-
grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Arthur Garcia; a son, Pascal Garcia; 
her parents, George and Vida Cheney; and a brother, Lloyd G. Cheney.
