Burial will be at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Paincourtville.

She was the mother of Henry Blanchard Jr. and Azema Blanchard Daigle. She is also survived by
18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Blanchard Sr.; parents, Felix Sr. and Azema
Daigle Fryou; sons, Nolan, Leroy, Roland and Mervin Blanchard; daughters, Lucy Blanchard and
Rosmary Blanchard Richard; brothers, Pete, Clarivil, Luke, Clarence, Wilbert, Orion, John,
Felix and Louis Fryou; and sisters, Edith F. Solar and Agnes F. Bouds.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Philomena Catholic
Church in Labadieville for James Joseph "Hi-Jacker" Boudreaux, 54, a native of Paincourtville
and resident of Labadieville, who died at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30, 1999.

Visitation will be noon until funeral time at the church.

Cremation will follow.

He was the husband of Kathleen Aucoin Boudreaux; son of Vi
vian S. Boudreaux; father of Jamie,

grandson of Delores Chandler and Ignas "Pete" Adams.

She was a homemaker.

She was the wife of Dr. Harry Ambacher; mother of Kristi Ambacher Hackney of Rockford, Ill.,
Lori Ambacher of Boston, Mass., and Brent Ambacher of Hong Kong. She is also survived by two
grandchildren.

She spent almost 30 years with her husband on the Christian mission field, prima
rily in Hong
Kong, in association with the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism.

She taught English classes and loved and mothered students at the seminary during their 30 year
tenure in Hong Kong.

He was a member of the Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus Council No. 1286, the American
Legion and the Veterans of Foreign War.

Mr. Boudreau, a resident of Washington, died at 12:20 p.m. Sunday, November

Associated Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of New Orleans; chairman of 
Selective Service Draft Board No. 43, Louisiana, until that service was 
discontinued; was active for over 30 years with the Boy Scouts of America; 
was honorary member of the American Council of Independent Laboratories, 
Inc.; an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 2925 of 
New Orleans; and a member of Colonial Golf and Country Club in Harahan for 
over 30 years.

In Thibodaux, he was president of the Bayou Chapter of the American 
Parkinson's Disease Association, served four years on the board of directors 
of the Bayou Country Club; was a member of Mayor Warren Harang's Blue Ribbon 
Committee and a member of the Bayou Industrial Group.

He was listed in Who's Who in the South and Southwest, 1954, 1956 and 1959; 
Dictionary of International Biography, 1968; and Who's Who is Commerce and 
Industry, 1955.

After graduating from high school in 1931, he was employed by the U.S. Corps 
of Engineers, New Orleans district, serving in the Atchafalaya Basin for four 
years, resigning with the rank of surveyor. His education was enhanced by 
studies with the International Correspondence School of Scranton, Pa.

He was employed by Pittsburg Testing Laboratory of Pennsylvania for 26 years, 
having achieved the t
itle of District Manager of the southern district. In 
1962, with two partners, he formed the company of Delta Testing and 
Inspection, Inc.

He was its first president and remained in that position until 1978 when his 
son Donald became president.

He has held the title of Chairman of the Board of the company until his death.

Joseph Co-cathedral in Thibodaux for Gerald Theodore Peltier, 67, a native 
and resident of Thibodaux, who died Nov. 24, 1999.

A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today at the church.

Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at Williams and Southall Funeral Home 
in Thibodaux and 6:30 p.m. until wake service at the church.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He was the step-son of Cornelius Harris; father of Marlyn Peltier Brooks, 
Veronica Peltier McGuinn, Janice Peltier, Lisa Peltier Rhodes and Kenneth 
Peltier; and brother of Constance Neville, Ernest, Raymond Jr. and Lambert 
Peltier. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Sr. and Evalina Peltier; 
sister, Valerie Ross; and brother, Sylvester Peltier Sr.

He was a U.S. Korean War Air Force veteran.

He was a member of Southern University Board of Supervisors and chairman of 
the Lafourche Parish Black Caucus.

He was the first black elected official to the Thibodaux City Council from 
1978 until his death.

He served as c
oordinator for the Louisiana State Department of Education, 
director of Testing at Nicholls State University, former teacher at Kent 
Hadley and Raceland Junior High Schools, and past commander of Raymond 
Stafford Post No. 513 of the American Legion.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated today at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for Richard "Blup" Rodriguez, 33, a native of New Orleans and 
resident of Montegut, who died at 2 a.m. Nov. 27, 1999.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

He was the son of Manuel and Malvina Bourg Rodriguez; father of Christopher 
and Glenn Rodriguez and Shannon Billiot; and brother of Gary Rodriguez, Wendy 
Cheramie, Rosalie "Lalee" Blanchard, Rosalie "Nin" Blanchard and Floence 
Zeringue.

He was an employee of Travis's Imports.

Beulah Toups

A religious service will be held today at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in 
Golden Meadow for Beulah A. Toups, 81, a native of Crowley and resident of 
Golden Meadow, who died at 4:25 p.m. Nov. 26, 1999.

He was the husband of Loretta Benoit Naquin; father of Gary and Lisa Naquin,

M.C. Perry

Outreach Center in Houma for M.C. Perry, 67, a native of Port Allen and 
resident of Houma, who died Nov. 29, 1999.

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma.

He was the husband of Joycelyn Perry;
 father of Kenneth Paul Perry of 
Patterson, Ellen Perry Benson of Shreveport, and Margaret Perry Tarpley of 
Alexandria; and brother of Richard Flynn Perry of Downsville, Robert Terrance 
Perry of Hyattsville, Maryland and Patricia Perry Andrus of Austin, Texas. He 
is also survived by six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, M.C. Sr. and Mary Margaret O'Dillion 
Perry.

After graduating high school in Iota, he enlisted in the Louisiana National 
Guard. With the onset of the Korean War, he transferred to the U.S. Air Force 
and was assigned to B-29 Superfortress bombers. 

Upon completion of his military service, he returned to college and became a 
high school teacher, having taught in schools in Louisiana and Virginia. He 
was a lifetime certified teacher as well as a certified guidance counselor in 
both states.

He was a consultant for a major school textbook publisher for many years. He 
traveled five states in the Southwestern U.S. as well as the Territory of 
Guam giving seminars and lectures to educators in the fields of English, 
literature, composition and the social sciences.

He wrote for many years on special assignment for The Houma Courier. He 
hosted a classical music program and did spot news. For 19 years he broadcast 
live election returns for various radio stations in the Houma-Thi
bodaux area.

He was a licensed pilot for over 30 years and in 1983, along with his son Ken 
and wife Joycelyn, opened Perry Flying Center.

He served as chairman of the board.

He served as president until the end of 1998 when he retired and his son, 
Ken, was named president and CEO. He was active in the day to day operations 
of the business until the last few weeks, when his health began to 
deteriorate.

Hollywood Road, Houma, LA, 70360, are preferred.

sister of Mary Barre of Westwego, Frances Williams of Seattle, Wash., Agnes

Vacherie. She is a
lso survived by 32 grandchildren and ten 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonce J. Stein; parents, John C. 
and Uraine Webre; daughter, Margaret Stein; and sons, Guy and Claude Stein.
