She was the mother of Eddie Jr., Johnny , Glen, Allen "Cou" and Emile "Bay"
Frederick and Rita Frederick Boudreaux; and sister of Stella Chauvin. She is
also survived by 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and five great-
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Frederick Sr.; parents,
Ferdinand and Celeste Landry Jacob; brothers, Malus, Earl and Miller Jacob;
sister, Eaulie Alexis; and grandson, Mike Frederick.

Church in Belle Alliance for Charley Garnett Sr., 72, a native and resident of
Belle Alliance, who died Jan. 27, 1999.

grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Neomi Garnett; brothers
Frank and George Garnett; sister, Essie Garnett Mitchell; and grandson, Leroy
Robinson. 

He was a retired employee of McDermott Fabricators in Morgan City, with 35
years of service.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. today at Memory Lawn Cemetery in
Natchitoches for Edna B. Seaman, 86, a native of Larose and resident of
Natchitoches, who died Jan. 29, 1999.

She was the wife of George B. Seaman of Natchitoches; and mother of Charles W.
Seaman of Natchitoches. She is also survived by one grandchild.

She was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception; Catholic
Daughters of America's Court Regina Pacis No. 1372.

She taught at Cloutierville High School, NSU Middle Lab and Nicholls State
University in Thibodaux, where she retired in 1976.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary
Catholic Church in Raceland for Roy Joseph Zeringue, 85, a native and resident
of Raceland, who died at 10:39 a.m. Jan. 30, 1999.

Burial was at the church cemetery.

He was the special friend of Hazel Babin; father of Rayford, Paul Lynn and
Joyce Zeringue; and brother of Milton Zeringue, Gussie Guidry and Bessie Mae
Melius. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eppie Bergeron Zeringue; parents, Octave
and Annie Bourgeois Zeringue; brothers, Guy, O.C. and Verde Zeringue; and
sister, Anna Lee Zeringue Morvant.

He was a member of the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Police Jury, Dularge
Hunting Club and Council on Aging. He was the past senior citizen King of
Carnival.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Clara Hinton Dosser. 

He was a member of the national guard and a World War II U.S. Army Veteran. He
was also a member of the American Legion Post No. 0401.

He was an avid fisherman.

Thibodaux.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Maggio Lamartina;

He was a retired vice president of academic affairs at Nicholls State
Univeristy and a graduate of Northwestern State University and Louisiana State
University.

He was a member of the National Organization on Legal Problems in Education,
Phi Delta Kappa, Phi Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta Pi and Kappa Phi Kappa.

He served as Captain in the Army Reserves, and was past president of the
Thibodaux Rotary Club and past district chairman of the Boy Scouts of America.

He also served as Commissioner of the Lafourche Parish Fire Protection
District No. 4.

He was a vestry member and Senior Warden of St. John's Episcopal Church.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Captain. He worked over 30

She was the wife of Michael J. Bilicko of Dallas, Ga.; daughter of H.B. and

She was a native and resident of Biloxi for 32 years. She lived in Dallas, Ga.

She was the wife of Louis Joseph Jr. of Thibodaux; mother of Mark Washington,
Elijah and Samantha Joseph, all of Thibodaux; sister of Willie Francis of
Edgard, Irvin Mitchell of Midland, Texas, Lloyd Thomas of Pineville, Ernest
Joseph of New Orleans, Effie Price of Labadieville, Lula Jackson, Ruby Neal,
Annie Reed and Royal Francis, all of Thibodaux. She is also survived by seven
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents
, Otto and Corrine Francis; and
brothers, Silas and Charlie Francis.

Rose Murphy


A religious service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of
Johovah's Witness in Donaldsonville for Rose Murphy, 83, a native of St.
Francisville and resident of Napoleonville, who died Feb. 21, 1999.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until funeral time at the church.

Burial will be at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Napoleonville.

She was the mother of Daniel, Elvert, Caroll and Elizabeth Murphy, Viola
Freeman and Dorothy Thompson, all of Napoleonville, Mary Dunmire of Thibodaux
and Harvey Murphy of New Orleans; and sister of Stewart Cheatham of Baton
Rouge. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Murphy Jr.; sons, George III
and Stewart Murphy; daughter, Rose Ann Murphy; five sisters and two brothers.

She was a homemaker.

A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Baptist
Church in Napoleonville for Gabriel "Gabe" Earnest Watkins Sr., 49, a native
of Thibodaux and resident of Napoleonville, who died Feb. 23, 1999.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until fu
neral time at the church.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.

He was the husband of Lisa Jackson Watkins; son of Mercedes Shanklin; father
of Laura M. Azema, Joshua G., Gabriel E. Jr., Jalil M., Germaine L., Gaynell
E. and Ashley G. Watkins; and brother of Roosevelt and Rose M. Shanklin and
Joyce A. Robertson. He is also survived by three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Watkins Sr.; and brother,
Earnest Shanklin.

He was a driver for Vanguard Trucking of Houma.
