     Died    
 Mrs. C. C. McBride, relic of the late C. C. Mcbride, died last Wednesday at 
the home of her daughter,Mrs. Barrouse, at Churchpoint. Deceased, who was a 
native of Lafayette, was by birth a Miss Alida Guidry, daughter of the late 
David Guidry, and her remains were interred in St. John’s cemetery Thursday
morning.  A large number of bereaved relatives and friends attended the funeral 
ceremonies, to whom the sympathies of the community are extended.
