LEONARD GUIDRY, LAFAYETTE.--Leonard Guidry is a native of the parish of
Lafayette, born May 24, 1857.  His father, a prosperous farmer, was also a
native and lifetime resident of Lafayette parish, as also is his mother.

Mr. Guidry received his education in the public schools of his locality.  He
has given his attention exclusively to his plantation interests.  His
plantation is a fine one and well improved, and it bespeaks the thrift and
enterprise of its owner.

Mr. Guidry was married, in 1885, to Miss Ella Higginbotham. Mr. Guidry in
religion is a Catholic, in politics a democrat.
