TWO YOUTHS WHO BREAK JAIL HERE; CAUGHT AT PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS

Lewis Melton of Winn Parish and Brady Masey of Grant parish are again 
confined in the Grant parish jail after escaping from the jail by digging a 
hole through the brick walls, sometime during last Thursday night.  The 
youths were caught in Port Author, Texas, Saturday and local authorities went 
after and brought them back to Colfax were they are held in a more secure 
jail cell.

These youths were arrested on a charge of stealing a log truck belonging to 
Fred Neal of Urania.
