COLLIER'S GROCERY STORE ROBBED LAST WEEK-END
The Grocery store and filling station owned by Owen Collier on the highway at
the edge of town, was entered into some time during Saturday night or early
Sunday morning. It is estimated that approximately $25 worth of goods,
mostly groceries, were stolen. Mr. Collier stated that this was the second
time in the past two weeks that the store has been entered, although the
amount taken perviously was hard to determine.
The sheriff's office is making an effort to find the thief or thieves.
Finger prints left by the thief, were secured and these may lead to a clue,
as yet no arrests have been made.
