MRS. RALPH DUHON DIES TODAY; ILL FOR LONG TIME.

Funeral Services This Afternoon For Woman Who Reared Family Here.

Mrs. Ralph Duhon died at her home on west Ninth street this morning at 4:30,
after a long illness which became critical only a week ago, when she developed
influenza. Mrs. Duhon had suffered many years with asthma, and barely escaped
death last winter as the result of this trouble.

She was born October 30, 1869, and spent most of her life in Crowley, where she
made many friends. Mrs. Duhon was the only remaining member of her family,
having lost her father, mother and other relatives before her own death.

Surviving her are her husband, Ralph Duhon, three sons, Norris, Claude, Ralph,
Jr., all of Crowley, and three daughters, Mrs. T. B. Bryan of Houston, Mrs. Ben
Cline of San Antonio, and Stella Duhon of this city. There are four grand-
children.

Funeral services were conducted from the St. Michael's Catholic church this
afternoon, and interment followed in the cemetery in Lafayette.
