MRS. O. C. OZBUN DEAD

Peritonitis Fatal Today Following
An Operation.
   Mrs. Golda Mock Ozbun of west
of Ottawa died this morning at 6
o'clock at Ransom Memorial hos-
pital. She had been ill three
weeks and was taken to the hos-
pital two weeks ago. She under-
went an operation and death re-
sulted from peritonitis.
   Te deceased was 32 years old.
Golda Marie Mock was born in
Ottawa December 23, 1910, the 
daughter of Marion and Ann
(Adkins) Mock. She was married
to O. C. Ozbun October 8, 1930 at
Winterset, Ia. Nine brothers, Ir-
vin, Clyde, Ralph, Norval, Floyd,
Vane and Francis Mock, all of Ot-
tawa. Lloyd Mock of Chanute and
Elmer Mock of Argentine and a
sister, Mrs. R. E. Trout, Ottawa,
survive.
   The funeral will be Thursday
afternoon at 2 o'clock from the
McVey Mortuary. Rev. C. E. An-
drews of the Church of Christ is
to officiate and interment will be
in Highland Cemetery.

   Ozbun. - Funeral services for 
Mrs. Golda Mock Ozbun, 32, west
of Ottawa, who died June 13 at
Ranson Memorial hospital were
held yesterday afternoon at the
McVey Mortuary. Death resulted
from peritonitis. Rev. C. E. An-
drews of the Church of Christ of-
ficiated at the services. Mrs. Ern-
est Gambrill and Mrs. Frank Lew-
is sang, "Does Jesus Care," "Beau-
tiful Isle," and "Whispering 
Hope." Pallbearers were: Glen
Mock, Wilbur Mock, Harley Mock,
Kenneth Andrews, Clifford Dale
and Frank Troutman. Honorary
pallbearers were: Misses Lois Un-
derwood, Lucille Fine, Opal Wil-
son, Ruth Reneau, Agnes Kelly
and Nina Haughn.
   Those from out-of-town who
attended the services were: Mr.
and Mrs. Lloyd Mock of Chanute;
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Mock of Ar-
gentine; Miss Cynthia Mock and
Jasper Byford of Lawrence; Mrs
Mollie Richards and Mrs. Nelle
Stewart and daughter and son of 
Yates Center; Mrs. Minnie Bo-
gard, Mrs. Clarence Taylor and 
J. Taylor of Peoria; Mr. and Mrs.
George Mock, Mr. and Mrs. W. H.
Williams and daughter of Imes.
Interment was in Highland cem-
etery.
