Atkinson County Citizen - June 26, 2014
  Jimmy Alton Hall, age 60, of Pearson, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 
2024, at his residence following a brief illness following a brief illness. 
  Mr. Hall was born on September 18, 1953, in Douglas, GA to the late Grady 
Alton Hall and Louise Nettles Hall.
 Survivors include his wife, Gina Lee Guthrie of Pearson, GA; son, Jimmy Bryan 
(Julie) Hall of Pearson, GA; two daughters, Brittany Hall (Rusty ) Purvis of 
Ambrose, GA and Brianna Louise Hall of Pearson, GA; two grandchildren, Conner 
Alton Purvis and Lauren Hall; sister, Janice Hall (Charles) Brown of Pearson;  
two brothers, Gary Wayne Hall and Steve Anthony Hall both of Pearson, GA; 
several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 4 p.m. at Westside 
Holiness Church with Rev. Steve Gentry and Rev. Charles Brown officiating.
 Interment followed at Satilla Memorial Gardens.
 Music was furnished for the service by Bryan Hall “I Can’t Even Walk” and 
Allison Guthrie “How Great Thou  Art” with Justin McGovern playing the piano.
 Active pallbearers were Mason Davis, Nick Cady, Gavin Hall, Ashley Wood, 
Charlie Gillis, Coby Barrett, Aaron Guthrie and Trey Bennett.
 Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Bruner, Tommy Yawn, Henry Smith, Bruce Brooker, 
Dwight Guthrie, Charles Phillips, Buddy Brown, James “Punkin” Hall, Cleveland 
Register, and Glen Guthrie.
 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
