Luther A. Rogers, 87, of Farmington, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Washington
Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 9, 1920 at Japton, Arkansas, the son of Fred Allen & Lizzy
Ross Rogers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Rogers & two sons,
Larry Joe Rogers & Al Rogers.

He was a carpenter foreman at the University of Arkansas, retiring after 33
years. He was a member of the Center Street Church of Christ where he served as
a deacon for 38 years. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by: A daughter: Connie Edwards & her husband Ron of Springdale
Seven grandchildren Fifteen great-grandchildren Four great-great-grandchildren

Service: 10:00 am, Monday, June 23 at Center Street Church of Christ
Officiating: Jack English Burial: Drakes Creek Cemetery, under the direction of
Moore's Chapel Visitation: 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm
