Funeral service for Mrs. Cornelia Frances Hewitt, 75 years old, who died Tuesday
night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lena Glass on Main Street , will be held
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the chapel of the Callison and Riggs Funeral
home. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Boyd of Rogers . Active
pallbearer will be Roger Banders, Albert Goodson, Carl Hewitt, Tyler Perry, C.P.
Gulley and William Hoskins; honorary, J.H. Myers, Dr. R.T. Henry, A.B. Coger,
Jack Hewitt and H.A. Reece. Burial will be in the friendship cemetery, east of
Springdale .

Mrs. Hewitt was born in Tennessee , then moved to Indiana and later to Arkansas,
having lived in and near Springdale for the past 60 years. Mrs. Hewitt is
survived by three daughters. Mrs. Lena Glass with whom she lived, Mrs. Kathleen
Kneedy and Mrs. Mable Babb of Chicago, and one son, Earl Hewitt of Denver,
Colo.; also by four brothers, George, Ben, Tom and Ernest Moneyhun of
Springdale, three sisters, Mrs. Howard Holman, Mrs. Charles Sill and Miss Jessie
Moneyhun of Anderson, Indiana. Mrs. Kneedy and Mr. Hewitt arrived here before
their mother's death.

She is also survived by a number of grandchildren.
