Betty Jean DeShields
(August 4, 1950 - November 14, 2009)

Betty Jean DeShields, 59, of Springdale, Arkansas, died November 14, 2009 at the
Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. She was born August 4, 1950 at Siloam
Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Jim and Betty Jane Misner Pike. She was a
homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include: her husband, James Richard DeShields of the home; three sons,
Richard Dewayne DeShields of Springdale, Arkansas, James Virgil DeShields of
Bald Knob, Arkansas and SPC Christopher Cordale DeShields of War Eagle,
Arkansas; one daughter, Renee Sain of McPherson, Kansas; two brothers, Charlie
Reed of Springdale, Arkansas and Bud Pike of Missouri; two sisters, Linda
Phillips and Linda Yent, both of Huntsville, Arkansas; fifteen grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.

A private memorial was held with cremation by Brashears Funeral Home
