MARGARET A. CHRISTENSEN, 90, died October 24, 2009 at Fayetteville, AR.
She was born April 9, 1919, in Oshkosh, WI, the daughter of the Rev. Alfred
Henry and Jessie (Denman) Christensen.

She was a 1940 graduate of Emporia State University, Emporia, KS. She then
worked at the Topeka, Kansas Menninger Clinic in their medical library. In 1942
she went to work for Liberty Mutual Ins. Co. in Boston, Massachusetts, as a
Claims Adjuster retiring in 1982 from their Chicago office as Middle West
Division Training Supervisor and moved to Eureka Springs, AR. In 1997 she moved
to Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville, AR. She was a member of Central
United Methodist Church and enjoyed many volunteer activities, playing bridge
and traveling.

She is survived by two nieces, Peggy Davis of Hayward, CA and Lynn Running of
Castro Valley, CA; one nephew, Denman Gillett of Benton, AR; one great-nephew,
Ethan Gillett of Conway, AR; and one great-niece, Mary Gillett of Benton, AR.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made
to the Butterfield Trail Village Foundation, 1923 East Joyce Blvd.,
Fayetteville, AR 72703. Online condolences may be sent to the family at
