Eugene Junior Hollinger, 81, of Leander, Texas, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Veloz Hollinger; and step-daughters,
Angelita Clark and Rita Schooley.

Sur-vivors include his daughter, Georgene Mello; step-daughters, Olivia Dodds,
and Julie Castillo; step-sons, Eugene Perez, Richard Perez, and Inez Perez; 17
grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

Hazel Brown Mann, 88, of Warren, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at Guesthouse in
Warren.

The daughter of Thomas Harvey Brown and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Thompson Brown,
she was born July 15, 1919, in Cleveland County. She was a homemaker and a
member of Pleasant Valley Freewill Baptist Church where she served as church
clerk, Sunday School teacher, and church secretary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Walter Fay Mann; brothers,
Franklin Brown, Thomas Brown Jr., Marion Brown, Nolen Curtis Brown, and Luther
"L.T." Brown.

Survivors include four brothers, Dewey Brown, and Jimmy Brown, both of Hot
Springs, Donald T. Brown of Little Rock, and Gerald Brown of Blytheville; and
one sister, Betty Lambert of Russellville.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Pleasant Valley Freewill

County Medical Center in Warren.

The son of Joseph L. Moseley and Alice Angeline Williams Moseley, he was born
Dec. 18, 1912, in Cleveland County. He was a retired employee of Soil
Conservation Services and a farmer. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cora Eulalia Parker Moseley;
and 10 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Pat Moseley of Sherwood and Jack Moseley of New
Edinburg; one daughter, Janis Moseley of Little Rock; seven grandchildren, five
great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Opal Kathline Webb Orr, 92, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, in Oklahoma City, Okla.

She was born Nov. 16, 1915, in Hermitage, to the Rev. Floyd and Mary Webb. She
was a member of the Assembly of God and a carrier for the Arkansas Democrat for
many years. She worked in a defense plant in Fort Worth, Texas, in World War II.
She worked in laundry services until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son; her husband, Newt Orr; and her
brother, Doyle.

Survivors include three sisters, Aimee Osbon of North Little Rock, Christine
Johnson of Oklahoma City, and Fae Rotton of El Dorado.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Phillip Reddin, 58, of Hampton, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at Medical Center of
South Arkansas.

He was born Jan. 31, 1949, in Hampton. He was a member of Camp Ground
Presbyterian Church in Hampton. He had owned and operated Phil's Flowers, a food
catering business and several other businesses.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Nellie Tomlinson Reddin.

Survivors include two brothers, Jimmy Reddin of Mabelvale and Charles Reddin of
Duncan, Okla.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Camp Ground Presbyterian Church in Hampton
with the Rev. Garland Skidmore officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral

Julius DeSoto Jr., 65 ,of Magnolia, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007. at Wadley
Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas.

He was born Oct. 16, 1942, in Minden, La., to Julius Landrum DeSoto Sr. and
Mildred Martha (Willis) DeSoto. He was a welder for various companies and
attended North Acres Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father; four brothers, Charles Lee, Billy Wayne,
Jack Glen, and James Allen DeSoto.

Survivors include his daughter, Mari Plumlee and her husband, Marc, and their
son, Aiden, of Ada, Okla.; his mother, Mildred DeSoto of Magnolia; two brothers,
Huey Robert DeSoto of El Dorado, and Joe DeSoto of Waldo; three sisters, Jean
Keith of Price, Texas, Mary Weber of Fort Worth, Texas, and Martha Cumbie of
Waldo; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and countless
friends.

Mary Hurley Gray Lee, 96, of Fallbrook, Calif., and formerly of Warren and
Estherville, Iowa, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007.

She was born March 12, 1911, in Warren, the daughter of Joseph Boyd Hurley and
Eula Garrison Hurley. She was a graduate of Warren High School and Christian
College in Columbia, Mo. She was an elementary teacher in the Warren area and
assisted with youth activities at the First Presbyterian Church. She served as a
trustee and elder at the Presbyterian Church in Estherville. She was active in
the work of the Holy Family Hospital Auxiliary and was a member of the P.E.O.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Paul Garnett Gray and
Robert N. Lee; five brothers, Laurence Hurley, Curtis Hurley, Joe Boyd Hurley
Jr., James Edward Hurley and Wallace Hurley; and one sister, Patricia Hurley
Roddey.

Survivors include her son, Paul G. Gray of Piedmont, Calif.; daughters,
Elizabeth Bucher of Fallbrook and Mary Alice Dunscombe of Houston; three

Albert C. Boulden, 50, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at his home.

He was born Nov. 11, 1957, in El Dorado, the son of Albert Boulden and Myrtis
Battle Boulden. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a
member of First Baptist Church on Cordell and was an employee of Pizza Inn.

He was preceded in death by his father and his stepfather, Luther Kirk Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Dorathy Pierce Boulden of El Dorado; one son, Damon
Henry of El Dorado; his mother, Myrtis Boulden Kirk of El Dorado; one brother,

LELUS A. CHURCHILL

Lelus A. "Weechie" Churchill, 93, of Camden, went to be with his Heavenly Father
on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007.

He was born Feb. 5, 1914, in Hector, and was a member of Cullendale Assembly of
God Church, where he served as a trustee. He was a veteran of World War II,
serving in the Philippines. Weechie retired from International Paper Co. of
Camden after 30 years of service. During the early 1950s, he played baseball for
the original Kraftsman's baseball team. Mr. Churchill was a devoted father,
grandfather and husband.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mildred Bowen Churchill of Camden; two
sons, Jerry Churchill and his wife, Melanie, of Camden and Randy Churchill of El
Dorado; grandchildren, Ashley Jones and her husband, Lance, of Billings, Mont.,
and Amber Pierce and her husband, Bryan, of Conway.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, at Proctor Funeral Home in

VICTOR P. FRANKLIN SR.

Victor P. Franklin Sr., 89, of El Dorado, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at
Medical Center of South Arkansas.

He was born Oct. 14, 1918, in Ogden, and was the son of Oran Palmer Franklin and
Maple Franklin. He served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War
II, where he was awarded two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. He attended AM&N
College in Pine Bluff. He was a member of First Baptist Church on Cordell, where
he was a member of the Male Chorus, trustee board and the Finance Committee. He
retired as an auditor with the Arkansas Employment Security Division.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Theodore Franklin; and a
sister, Irene Arvin.

Survivors include his wife, Trevia Clark Franklin of El Dorado; three sons, Oran
P. Franklin III of El Dorado, G. Bernard Franklin of Little Rock and Victor
Franklin Jr., of San Diego; one daughter, Lisa Harrison of Sacramento, Calif.;
one sister, Johnie Cue Blake of Tallahassee, Fla.; six grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.

C.C. "Cotton" Hines, 81, of Emerson, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at Homer
Memorial Hospital in Homer, La.

Cotton was born Aug. 4, 1926, in Emerson, to John Doss and Sybil Maurice (Pharr)
Hines. He was a retired logging contractor, served in the United States Air
Force and was a member of Canaan Land Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James "Humpy" Hines; and
daughter, Rebecca Pitcock.

Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Glenva Hines of Emerson; daughter, Denise
Williams of Emerson; sons, Steve Hines of La Veta, Colo., Kevin Hines of
Magnolia, and Jerry Hines of McNeil; sisters, Mary Bourn of El Dorado, and
Frances Greenlee of El Dorado; grandsons, Daniel, Adam, Caleb and Micah;

Lyon West. He was an operator for American Oil, an Army veteran of World War II,
a member of Marrable Hill Chapel and he loved to fish, play dominos, tell
stories, and was a woodworker.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Raymond West; and a sister,
Lois West.

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Van Helms West of El Dorado; a son, Grady
"Geve" West and his wife, Shannon, of Prairie Grove; a daughter, Rhonda Hurst

Mary Semerian "Toot" or "Mama Toot," Delphin, 94, of El Dorado, died Tuesday,
Dec. 4, 2007, in El Dorado.

Born Nov. 22, 1913, in Natchitoches Parish, La., she was the second of five
children born to the union of Willie Rachal and Louisiana Severian. She was the
owner of Buck's Liquor until her retirement.

She was a devoted Christian throughout her life and was baptized at St.
Augustine's Church in Isle Brevelle, La. She was a founding member of the Holy
Martyrs of Uganda Catholic Church in El Dorado, which was later merged into Holy
Redeemer Parish. Semerian remained a faithful member of Holy Redeemer until her
death. Always a firm believer in the biblical injunction, to those to whom much
has been given, much is expected, she was driven to help the less fortunate.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Francis Delphin
(Buck); six siblings, Magda, Ceola, Willie, Hearve, Dorsey and Thelma; one son,
Raymond; and one grandson, Farrell Jr.

Survivors include three sons, Richard Delphin (Adelle), Walter Delphin (Ann) and
Wilfred Delphin (Edwin); one daughter, Mary Christopher (Farrell); one brother,
Floyd; her grandchildren, Vincent (Chanda), Angie (Michael), Nicholas (Juanita),
and Semerian (Esaul) and her great-grandchildren, Richard, Oran, Cecil, Lameria,
Isiah and Nehato.

Funeral will be held Sunday, Dec. 9 at Holy Redeemer of El Dorado, with
visitation from 3 until 5 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 5 p.m. with Father
Gregory Pilcher officiating.

Services will be held on Monday, Dec. 10, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in
Cane River, La., with visitation from 9 until 10:45 a.m., followed by Mass at 11
a.m., with Father Jacobs officiating.

Burial will be in St. Augustine Mausoleum. The family will be at the home of
Richard Delphin, 2125 Gale Place, El Dorado.

Michael L. Dover, 44, of El Dorado, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at Life Touch
Hospice.

He was born Oct. 1, 1963, in El Dorado, and was the son of Jack Lloyd Dover and
Judy Dover Key, who preceded him in death.

He was an El Dorado High School graduate and worked as a cook for Betty's Old
Fashion for 20 years.

Survivors include his grandmother, Minnie Dean Thomas of El Dorado; sisters,
Rhonda Willouby of El Dorado, and Lisa Lowery of Mount Holly; aunts, Betty
Shaub, Martha Koons, and Carolyn Bush, all of El Dorado; uncles, Steve Dover and
Donald Dover, both of El Dorado; and several nieces and nephews.

HERMAN J. GRIGSBY

The Rev. Hermon J. Grigsby, 84, of El Dorado, received his heavenly promotion on
Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, while a patient at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Born on June 26, 1923, in Malvern, he was the youngest of the 10 children of
John Thomas and Zora Belle Burris Grigsby.

Rev. Grigsby, an ordained Assemblies of God minister, had 50 years of pastoral
ministry in Assemblies of God churches in Arkansas and Louisiana. He had served
his country during World War II as a first class seaman in the U. S. Navy.

Preceding him in death along with his parents were his wife of 51 years, Mildred
O. Cotten Grigsby; and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a son, Elvis L. Grigsby (Glenda) of Little Rock; a daughter,
Wanda Hubbard (Thomas) of El Dorado; a grandson, the Rev. Neil Hubbard of El
Dorado; and a sister, Fercy Nugent of Malvern.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at First Assembly of God with the Revs.
Scott Etheridge and E. Joe Wilmoth officiating.

Lucille Henderson, 96, of Crossett, formerly of Magnolia, died on Saturday, Dec.
8, 2007, at Leisure Lodge Nursing Center in Crossett.

Funeral for Florence Rundell Posey, 69, will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at First

Mrs. Posey was born on Nov. 29, 1938, in Vicksburg, Miss., and passed away on
Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, in Farmerville.

Mrs. Posey graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1956. She attended Louisiana
State University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority.

Mrs. Posey graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1960 with a degree in elementary
education.

She taught elementary school for a number of years in El Dorado and at Cedar
Creek School in Ruston.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, James; a daughter and son-in-law,
Alison and Kent Reed of Kinder, La.; three grandchildren, Justin, Wesley and
Catherine Reed; and a son, Ron, and fiancée, Charlene Martin, of Dallas, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Llewellyn Rundell.

Pallbearers will be Joe Harper, Stein Baughman, Jim Farley, Billy Shankle, Huey
Warner and Charles Causey.

Joyce L. Russell, 80, of Strong, died on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at Medical Center
of South Arkansas.

She was born on May 8, 1927, in Strong, the daughter of Searcy Leonard Saunders
Sr. and Birdie L. Gibson Saunders.

She retired from Strong Gardner Elementary School where she worked in the
cafeteria for 31 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William "Bill" Russell;
sisters Mary Martin, Drucilla Wilson and Helen Vaughn; and a brother, S.L.
Saunders.

Survivors include four daughters, JoAnn Dollar and husband, Gerald, Sharon
McDowell and husband, Barry, Billie Barnes and husband, Melvin, and Brenda Davis
and husband, Len; grandchildren Heath, Brandon and James Gilmore, Tabitha

Mrs. Strickland was born on Jan. 28, 1937, in Soper, Okla., to James Leonard
Johnson and Bertha Viney Holder.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Smackover. She was formerly
a nurse at Warner Brown Hospital for 20 years and retired from South Arkansas
Regional Health Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Orlin Strickland.

She is survived by a son, Eddie Cole and wife, Kathy, of Junction City; a
daughter, Cathey Griffin and husband, Johnny, of El Dorado; a stepson, Gary
Strickland and wife, Belinda, of Smackover; four grandsons, Craig Griffin and
