Nettie Mae Floyd Dozier, 86, died Thursday, April 1, at Baptist Memorial
Hospital in Memphis. She was a resident of Moro for the past 40 years, coming
there from Hazen. She was a member of the Moro Baptist Church, where she was a
Sunday School teacher and taught GA and Bible School. She also was a member of
the Moro Home Demonstration Club. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Floyd
of Stuttgart, Benny Floyd of Cabot and Jerry Floyd of Moro; one sister, Betty
White of Hazen; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by her husbands, Enos Floyd and James A. Dozier. Funeral services were
held Saturday, April 3, at Moro Baptist Church at 10 a. m., with Bro. Charles
Wesley Jones and Bro. Bill Elliot officiating. Burial followed at Center Point
Cemetery in Hazen. Pallbearers were Mark Waldrip, Billy Kelly, Buddy Grady,
Johnny Dozier, Burnell Minton, Larry Kee. Honorary pallbearers were Lucky New,
Marlin Dailey, Virgil Guynes, Jack Hill, Kenneth Byrd, Walter Gillenwater and
Jessie Smith. Arrangements were handled by Fowler Funeral Home in Brinkley.
