	The material transcribed below is from a special edition of the 
Scott County Advertiser newspaper of 3 April 1991, entitled "A Salute to 
Scott County Citizens 90 Years and Over." The interviews were done as
part of a celebration of the Bank of Waldron's 90th anniversary. They are
arranged alphabetically for presentation here. Pictures were included 
with these short biographies.

LANGLEY, Luther: Luther Langley was born in the Friendship community on
January 18, 1901 to John and Mary (Brothers) Langley. He attended school
at Friendship, and has been a member of the Waldron Assembly of God for
50 years. He has been a citizen of Scott County for 85 years. He and his
wife Lois were married in 1923 and they have two children, Wayne Langley
of Waldron, and Wanda May Scott of McAlester, Oklahoma. Luther has been a
farmer, an Oklahoma Oil Field worker, and has owned stores at Crumptown
and Harvey.
