   TILLAR -- Malcolm Eugene Pardon, 66, of Tillar, died October 29, 2002, 
at his home.
   He was born October 21, 1935, at Winchester (Drew County), a son of the
late Jim R. Pardon and Martha Hartless Pardon. He was a retired farmer, a 
member of the Kelso Baptist Church at Kelso (Desha County), and a member of 
the Desha County Conservation League hunting club.
   Survivors include his wife, Jo Moss Pardon; two daughters, Bonnie 
Lucinda Jones of Pine Bluff and Jacque Sue Falcone of Arlington, Texas; one
brother, James Pardon of Rison; three sisters, Dorothy Beaton of Boydell
(Ashley County), Helen Davis of Rison and Mary Baxter of Pine Bluff; four
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kelso Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Bob Courtney officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery
at Jefferson by Griffin Funeral Home of Dumas.
   Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
   The family requests memorials take the form of contributions to Kelso
Baptist Church or the Gideons.
