I found this in the Dec.7, 1895, Press Argus, Crawford county, Arkansas
newspaper.

Second Street saw a happy wedding Thanksgiving Night when Mr. Hal BROWN
of Van Buren and Miss Mamie GARRICK became man and wife. She is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank GARRICK and the groom is a ressident of
Van Buren and an attache of the Valley Road. Both are highly esteemed by
their friends and aquaintances who wish them a long and happy wedded
life. A large number of friends were present to wish the couple a long
life and a happy one. There was a beautiful supper and it was heartfully
enjoyed by the guests. Mrs. GARRICK presided over the banquet table
assisted by a few friends. Revern HALEY of the Babtist church performed
the ceremony.
