Beck
Richard Aaron Beck, 23, of Jackson, Miss., formerly of Jonesboro, died
Saturday afternoon at his home.

According to Sammy White, deputy coroner in Hinds County, Miss., Beck
died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head at approximately 2
Saturday afternoon.  His body was found at approximately 4:30 Saturday
night by Jackson police officers.

Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon in the chapel of Farmers
Union Funeral Home with burial following in Trinity Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 this evening at the funeral home.

Beck
Funeral services for Richard Aaron Beck, 23, of Jackson, Miss., who
died Saturday afternoon at his home, will be held this afternoon at 1
in the chapel of the Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.  Burial
will follow at Trinity Cemetery at Bono.

Active pallbearers will be Tom Beck, Brandon Beck, Nick Furr, Herman
Snell, Tony Durham and James Griffith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Beck and Alex Slawson.

Formerly of Jonesboro, Beck was a picture frame specialist and a member
of St. Collumb Episcopal Church in Jackson.

Surviving are his father, Gene Beck of Jackson; his mother, Sharon Beck
of Jonesboro; three brothers, Tom and Jason Beck of Jackson, and
Brandon Beck of Jonesboro; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H.
"Pete" Gambill and Helen Beck, all of Jonesboro.
