Morning News of Northwest Arkansas dated Thurs Nov 20, 2008

Bentonville - John Berry "J.B." Sooter, 85, of Bentonville died Nov 17, 2008, at
Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born Aug 20, 1923, in Troy, KS, to
Ova and Robbie Allsbury Sooter.

Graduated from Bentonville High School, 1943; retired from Kraft Foods after 34
years of service, served in the Navy during WWII, and with Battery A of the
936th field Artillery of the Arkansas National Guard during the Korean War. Avid
Razorback and Bentonville Tiger fan. Charter member of the Bentonville Lions
Club. Member of Bentonville Church of the Nazarene.

Survived by wife, Ozell Cash Sooter; son, John W Sooter; three sisters, Ellen
Jefferson, Beulah Brown and husband Lynn, and Helen Miller; two grandchildren;
two great-grandsons; numerous nephews and nieces. Preced in death by his
parents, two brothers and one sister.

Services at 1pm today, Nov 20, at Bentonville Church of the Nazarene, burial in
Benton County Memorial Park with military honors.
