Born Oct 25, 1950, in Camden to Dr John J and Kathleen Black Murphy
Married Tereca Jo Huckaby in April 1977
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Thomas Eli and John James Murphy;
daughter, Kaye Lynette Murphy; one brother, James Perry Murphy; one sister,
Kathy Tucker

Dr. John Thomas Murphy, 54 year-old resident of Bentonville, Arkansas, died
August 18, 2005. Born October 25, 1950 in Camden, Arkansas, he was the son of
Dr. John J. Murphy and Kathleen Black Murphy. He graduated from Siloam Springs
High School in 1969 and attended Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport,
Iowa, graduating in 1973. Dr. Murphy had lived in Bentonville, Arkansas, since
1980, where his chiropractic office was located. He was active in coaching for
the Babe Ruth Baseball Program. He married Tereca Jo Huckaby in Siloam Springs,
in April, 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Tereca Jo of the home; two sons, Thomas Eli Murphy
of Fayetteville, Arkansas and John James Murphy of Gravette, Arkansas; one
daughter, Kaye Lynnette Murphy of Stephenville, Texas; one brother, James Perry
Murphy of Springdale, Arkansas; one sister, Kathy Tucker of Gentry, Arkansas;
and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 21, 2005, at Wasson Memorial
Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, at
Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
