PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wis. — Barbara H. Ives, 91, died Feb. 21, 2009, at Maplewood
Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 11, 1917, in Portland, Ore., to Everett and
Gertrude Siebenthaler Isbell.

She moved to Rogers in 1974 from Perry, Iowa, where she had a local radio
station. She was active in the League of Women Voters, and enjoyed and performed
in Little Theater productions. She was a real estate agent in Rogers from 1974
until the mid-1980s when she retired.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Ives.

Survivors include three sons, David Ives and wife Nancy of Prairie du Sac,
Richard Ives and wife Chari of LaMirada, Calif., and Bruce Ives and wife Cam of
Defiance, Mo. ; two daughters, Carol Ives of Minneapolis, and Marcia Roberts and
husband Larry of Arlington, Texas; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a. m. Saturday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
