Northwest Arkansas Morning News Sept. 2, 2009
Loy Washington Brewer, 91, of Rogers, Arkansas died August 31, 2009 at Circle 
of Life in Springdale. Born September 3, 1917 in Benton County, Arkansas, the 
son of George W. and Josephine Moon Brewer.
Served in the U.S. Army's Pacific Theater in World War II from 1942 to 1945.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, a daughter and two sons, four 
grandchildren,and a sister, of Kosciusko, Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Charley G. Brewer, and a sister, Zelda.
A celebration of Mr. Brewer's life will be held Thursday, September 3 at 11 
a.m. at First Christian Church.
Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Services in Rogers.
