Funeral services for Lewis "Charlie" Norrell Jr., 68 of Hamburg will be held Wednesday,
June 25, at 4 p.m. at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Lawrence Amos and
Mike Hutsell officiating. Burial will be at Carlock Cemetery under the direction of
Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg. Mr. Norrell died Saturday, June 21, at Jefferson
Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.

A native of Ashley County, he was a lifelong resident of the Pine Hill Community and
retired from the Georgia-Pacific Paper Mill.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Sue Norrell; one son, Louis Douglas Norrell, of Hamburg;
two steo-daughters, Beverly Rice and Versa Reed, both of Crossett; one brother, Harvey Poe
of Crossett; two sisters, Iva Kate Swan and Louise Swan, both of Hamburg; give
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and
three sisters.

Pallbearers are Sonny Lowry, Donnie Watt, Jumbo Mashburn, Jimmy Norrell, Johnathon Pannell
and Shawn Carpenter.
