LAWRENCE MIDDLEBROOKS

  Funeral services for Lawrence "Bee" Middlebrooks, 74, of the State Line
Community near Beekman, La., were held Friday, June 6, at 2 p.m., at the
Golden Funeral Chapel in Bastrop, with the Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating.
 burial was at Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
  Mr. Middlebrooks died Wednesday, June 4, at his residence.  He was a
retired carpenter.
  Survivors include three sons, Jerry Lawrence Middlebrooks of Marksville,
La., and Steve and Mike Middlebrooks, both of Bastrop, La; two daughters,
Paulette Francis of Portland and Bonnie Pack of Crossett; three sisters,
Katherine Farrar of Crossett, and Erline Stanley and Ida Mae Spikes, both of
Bastrop; five brothers, Wayne, C.J. , James and Bobby Middlebrooks, all of
Bastrop, and L.E. Middlebrooks of West Monroe, La.; eleven grandchildren and
six great-grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Lee Middlebrooks, and by a
brother, Edward Middlebrooks.
