These graves are licated in the woods to the south on a hill approximately 200 yards from the road Two lone graves in this cemetery though there may be others. Logging came through and may have harmed other gravestones. H. 1815 1885 (b Jun 15, 1815 d Dec 1, 1885) Additional Comments: Last known owner of this property was Mrs. Bill Fredrick Jesse and Karrin Helen Armstrong Pope can be found in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 census records in Marion County, Alabama. Karrin is there in 1880 with their youngest daughter. Their children (all born in Alabama) from these census records: John A. Pope, born about 1842 Calista Louisa Pope, born about 1843 Caladonia H. Pope, born about 1845 David W., born October 14, 1847 Roxanah T. Pope, born April 6, 1850 Albinah Dioncle Pope, born about 1853 Maryetta R. Pope, born about 1855 John A. Pope married Sarah "Sallie" Catherine Terrell. He died January 1912 in Lamar County, Alabama. Calista Louisa Pope married Daniel Jefferson Pearce. She died July 30, 1930 in Coleman County, Texas. Caladonia Helen Pope married John Franklin Cooley. They moved to Titus County, Texas after 1880 and can be found there as late as 1920. David W. Pope married Eliza Lavender Carpenter. He died August 27, 1907 in Mississippi. Roxannah T. Pope married Riley Smith Bottoms. She died July 19, 1926 in Marion County, Alabama. Albinah Diocle Pope married John Lafayette Burlson on January 25, 1874. She died April 30, 1945 in Motley County, TX Maryettta R. Pope married first L. Anderson and 2nd William Albert Shira.
