Death Claims Mrs. Campbell

Mrs. Lizzie Campbell, aged 76, well known resident of Town Creek, route three, passed away on
Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the hospital in Moulton, after an illiness of one week. 
Deceased was an active member of the Okalona Baptist church, to which she had belonged for 40
years. She had been making her home with a son, J. L. Campbell, during recent years.
Surviving In addition are three sons, Paul and  R. M. Campbell, Town Creek, and J. T. Campbell
Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. W. S. Lowery, Leighton, and Mrs. Albert Holder, Caruthville, MO.;
two sisters, Mrs. Mart Kent and Mrs. Vivlo Norton, Town Creek, two brothers Jim Reed, Moulton,
and Gilbert Reed, Town Creek.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mt. Zion Baptist church, south of
Leighton, conducted by Rev. Lee Waldrep, of the Baptist Church. Burial followed in the adjoining
cemetery, Spry's directing.
