Mrs. W. H. Estes, age 80, of the Union Hill community, passed away at her home 
Sunday, January 31, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Estes had recently moved to 
Chambers County from Clay County. Funeral services were held from Mt. Gilliland 
Church in Clay County on Monday, February 1, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Fred Gore 
conducting. Interment was in the Mt. Gilliland cemetery with Johnson and Sanders 
Funeral Home in charge. Surviving are the husband; two stepsons, George Estes, 
Union Hill; Roy W. Estes, Lanett; one brother, J. H. Harris, Sikesville, Ala.
