     GREEN B. AVERY,... died at his home in Lanett last Sunday. The
     remains were brought back to the neighborhood in which he for a
     long time lived...
     
     For years he was a prominent teacher in Chambers County. The
     deceased is survived by 9 sons and many other relatives.
     
     Note: Tombstone inscription at Mount Pisgah Cemetery-
