Death of Mrs. Ann Smith

A Well Known Lady Passes Away of Peritonitis

The death of Mrs. Ann Smith, wife of T.P. Smith, residing at 210 Scott
street occurred yesterday afternoon.  The deceased had been ill for some
time with peritonitis, brought on by a severe cold.  Her condition
gradually  grew worse until death resulted.  She was sixty-eight years of
age and was well known.  A husband and five children, three daughters and
two sons, survive, the only one residing here being F.L. Smith, the artist.
The others are as follows: Mrs. Alice Conroy, Ellenwood, Kan.; Mrs. Herbert
Marshall, St. Louis Park, Minn.; Mrs. Emma Avery, Manawa, Wis; and W.A.
Smith, Chicago.  One son, G.L. Smith, died in Minneapolis about a year ago.

The funeral will be held from the residence Thursday morning at ten
o'clock, and the remains will be taken to Omro for burial.  The services
will be conducted by the Rev. G.H. Trever.
