CEMETERY RECORDS OF SMITH COUNTY TEXAS, Volume III, Southwest Quarter, 
p.193. 

Located on private land owned by Dr. C. E. Willingham.  One mile north 
of Gresham on Highway 2493, then east about one-half mile.

The cemetery is located on land granted by the State of Texas to 
Mary M. Long in 184 , which she deeded to her son Richard B. Long in 
1852.  Long sold the surrounding land in 1881, reserving one acre for 
a cemetery.
