KASIAH SMITH

  Mrs. Kasiah (May) Smith, 91, died last Sunday morning at her home in Berlin, 
after an illness of about a month.
  She was born in Bedford County, and had been a resident of Berlin for 21 
years.  Her husband, Samuel Smith, died many years ago.  Surviving are seven 
children - Mrs. Ida Burris, Mrs. Levi Coughenour and Levi Smith, Detroit, Mich.; 
Harvey and William Smith and Mrs. Pearl Bingner, Berlin; Mrs. Ada Gardner, 
Geneva, Ohio.  Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Johnson 
Funeral Home.  Interment in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
