MRS. ANNA CONFER SMITH

  Mrs. Anna Confer Smith, aged 74 year, died of pneumonia at her home in 
Pittsburg on Tuesday evening at 7:45 o'clock.  She was a daughter of the late 
Samuel Confer, of Hollidaysburg, and was a former resident of this city.  
Three sons survive, E. D. and S. H. Smith, of Pittsburg, and A. W. Smith, of 
this city, and two daughters, Anna M. and Louise M. Smith, of Pittsburg, 
together with several sisters.  The funeral will take place this morning at 9 
o'clock with a mass of requiem at the Catholic church of St. John, the 
cortege leaving the mortuary of N. A. Stevens at 8:45 o'clock.  Interment 
will be made in St. John's cemetery.  The remains may be viewed before the 
funeral in the Stevens mortuary, room No. 3.
