WILL OF
DOROTHY SMITH (Widow), OF CALVERT COUNTY, MD.

  Daughter, Mary Sewall,
  Son, Bazil Smith,
  Son, Roger Smith,
  Son, John Smith, £42 in consideration that he conveys unto my son, Bazil
Smith, that tract land in Calvert County called "Letchworth," now in
possession of said John Smith. But if the said Jno. Smith refuses to make
over ye said land to his brother, Basil Smith, then the aforesaid £42 to go
to my estate.
All my children the residue.

  Will dated August 18, 1730; codicil dated November 10, 1730; proved March
17, 1730-31.

Codicil dated November 10, 1730:
Son, John Smith, to have £3 more out of estate for that parcel of land to
be made over to his brother, Basil Smith.   Son, Basil Smith, £30 for his
two years crop, viz: for the years 1728 and 1729: also two shares of
everything that is made upon ye plantation in ye year 1730.
