Carol ÒCrickÓ Constant Smith, 76, was born on June 26, 1938 and passed away on 
July, 20, 2014. 
She was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral from 1:30 PM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take 
place at 3:00 PM 

with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her two children, Lee Smith and Connie Smith DeFelice; four 
grandchildren, Dustin DeFelice, Olivia Sanchez, Shay Smith, and Paige Smith; 2 
great-grandchildren, Jolie and Chloe DeFelice.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ethel Gaudet Constant and 
her sister, Marilyn ÒBootsieÓ Trosclair.

Carol was employed at Nicholls State University as President Secretary for 11 
years and Thibodaux High School as Principal Secretary for 20 years.
