With sincere thanks for her tireless efforts, this  memorial is dedicated to the memory of Della Reagan Fischer.  Through her large volume of published research, countless genealogists has been able to find their connection to their Southwestern Pennsylvania family histories.  I am one such thankful researcher, who as a teenager in the late 1970's I was privileged to have been able to connect to my Somerset County, PA Roots by reading her Cemetery Books at the Pennsylvania Room in the Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh.  It was because of Della's work that  I was inspired to study the field of early Pennsylvania Graveyards and Tombstones.  Thank you Della, for the wonderful legacy you have left to us all.
