FRANK C. FISCHER
Frank C. Fischer, 88, of White Oak died today in
Woodhaven Care Center, Monroeville. A retired self-employed barber
in East McKeesport, he was a member of Faith Lutheran church in
White Oak.
Born in Smithton, Nov. 24, 1902, he was a son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. John Fischer. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy A.
Lingsch Fischer; stepdaughters, Florence Lueckert of Elizabeth Twp.
and Irene Potesik of Coudersport; stepsons, Andrew Lingsch of
McKeesport, Clifford Lingsch of Macedonia Ohio, Edward Richard
Lingsch of Ruffs Dale, Thomas Lingsch of Hamilton, Ohio, and Robert
Lingsch of Vienna, Ohio; grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister,
Katie Malone of Greensburg, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Sunday from noon to 3 and 7 to
9 p.m. in the William H. Craig Funeral Home, Inc. Service will be
conducted there Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Arthur Ackerman.
Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.

Mon Valley genealogist Della R.
Fischer died yesterday in McKeesport Hospital.
Mrs Fischer, 76, of 1103 Summit St., White Oak, was
also a beautician and shop owner.
Because of her pioneering research and publication of
genealogical records, she was an honorary life member of the Western
Pennsylvania Genealogical Society. She was a member of Faith
Lutheran Church of White Oak and the Lutheran Women's Society.
Her records appeared in the libraries of the Daughters
of the American Colonists and Daughters of the American Revolution
in Washington, D. C.
Surviving are her husband, Frank C. Fischer; two
sisters, Lulu Scholl and Maude Smith; and a brother, Edward Reagan.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow in the Laycox-Jaworski Funeral Home, 2703
O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport, where services will be held at 10 a.m.
