Taken from the Westmoreland County Historical Society Cemetery Index: As early as 1783 those members of the Reformed Church living in the Export area requested a minister to serve them. Rev. John Weber was sent to fill that need as well as to serve a number of other churches in the area. His successor, Rev. William Weinel, helped them organize and develope plans for a church they could call their own. Members Philip Drum and Peter Hill donated land on which a structure and graveyard would be erected.
Over the years the original log structure was enlarged and replaced by a brick church around 1856. During the last quarter of the nineteenth century the cemetery was beautified and a fence erected around the property. Additional ground was acquired in 1894 to enlarge the cemetery.

DIRECTIONS TO CEMETERY: From the Export area on Rt 22, just east of Newlonsburg, turn right onto what will become Kennedy Avenue in Export. About 0.7 mile on the left side is Hills Church Road. Turn left onto Hills Church Road and follow it approximately one mile to the cemetery, which adjoins the church.
