Hebrew Burial Association (a.k.a. Chesed Shel Emeth of Pittsburgh) was organized about 1853, and the land for the "Old" Cemetery was purchased the same year. The land for the "New" Cemetery was purchased in 1913. Chesed Shel Emeth Cemeteries are administered by: Jewish Cemetery & Burial Association
