Sharp, Arthur E., 1883 - 1972 age 88 of 59 N. Stanwood Rd in Columbus, formerly of McArthur, O., died Monday at Medic Home Health Center in Columbus. He was born in Vinton County, a son of Thomas D. and Margaret Wilson Sharp.

was the wife of Arthur E. Sharp.
Sharp, Thomas, 1858 - 1933, was the son of Jackson and Mary Jane Backus of Ohio. He was the husband of Margaret Wilson Sharp. He is from the Thomas Sharp line.
Sharp, Margaret (Wilson), 1858 - 1933
Widow of the late Thomas D. Sharp, passed away Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Banister, Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Vinton County, August 29, 1863 and passed away at the age of ninty-three years of age.
Sharp, Otto F., 1895 - 1982 of McArthur, O.- Otto F. Sharp, 86, . Mr. Sharp died Thursday morning at his residence. born in Vinton county near Radcliff, he was the son of the late Thomas D. and Margaret (Wilson) Sharp. He owned and operated a grocery store in McARTHUR for over 50 years.
Sharp, Thelma Fri, 1897 - 1992,
age 94 of McArthur died March 10, 1992. Born December 17, 1897 in Swan Township, she was the daughter of the late David Elsworth and Emma Rosser Fri. Mrs. Sharp clerked with her husband, Otto Sharp, for many years at the former Sharp's Store in McArthur and formally taught school in Swan Township.
Rogers, Ora (Sharp), 1893 - 1984, age 91, of Westminister Terrace, Columbus died Tuesday after an extended illness at her residence. Born in Vinton Township, Vinton County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas D. and Margaret (Wilson) Sharp. She was the owner of the Rogers Insurance Agency and was an insurance agent for many years in Columbus. She was the wife of the late Charles Rogers.
Rogers, Charles, 1887 - 1970, he was the husband of Ora (Sharp) Rogers.
Swaim, Hulbert Jackson, b. Nov. 20, 1912, d. Dec. 29, 1943 Died in World War II, body was never recovered. 7th Air Force Pacific Theater on B-24 Bomber over Marshall Islands. He made the ultimate sacrifice-his life for freedom. He was awarded the Medal of Honor with Oak Leaf for service beyone the call of duty. Only son of Harley and Evelyn (Sharp) Swaim. This stone is a memorium.
Swaim, Evelyn (Sharp), 1885 - 1986 101 YEAR OF AGE-EVELYN SWAIM DIES-COUNTY'S OLDEST LADY Vinton County's oldest resident, Evelyn (Sharp) Swaim, age 101, of 315 N. Market St., McArthur, died Saturday evening at the Whetmore Convalescent Center in Columbus. She would have been 102 on February 8. Born in Vinton Township she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Wilson Sharp. Mrs. Swaim was a leader in the community.
Swaim, Harley Jackson, 1885 - 1959 was the husband of Evelyn (Sharp) Swaim. He was born on March 10, 1885 in McArthur, the son of Charles M. and Lillian (Dillon) Swaim.
Pearce, Benjamin L., 1896 - 1973, was the husband of Edna V. Sharp. He and Edna had one child, Marjorie who was an accomplished musican.
Pearce, Edna V.(Sharp), 1897 - 1994 McArthur, O., died May 30, 1994 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan. Born January 31, 1897 at Radcliff, she was the daughter of the late Thomas D. & Margaret (Wilson) Sharp. Wife of Benjamin L. Pearce. Thomas Jefferson Sharp was the grandfather of Thomas D. Sharp.

Tomei, Marjorie (Pearce), 1920 - 1994 age 74, of W. Mill St., McArthur, O., passed away December 22, 1994 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens, Ohio. She was a musician and beautician and operated a beauty palor in McArthur for many years; she was a member of the McArthur First Christian Church; and a 1939 graduate of McArthur High School. She was born September 24, 1920 in Richwood, Ohio, daughter of the late Ben L. and Edna V. (Sharp) Pearce.

McKissick, Mayme (Cottrill), 1882 - 1965 wife of John F. McKissick. Mayme was the daughter of Lemuel Marshall & Rosanna Cottrill. The Cottrill line came from the marriage of Hendison & Mary (Sharp)Cottrill. She was the daughter of John & Elizabeth (Gregory) Sharp of Ohio. (This stone indicates that she was the wife of John F. McKissick, which has been proben. I can not determine if he is buried there with her.)
Johnson, Delbert, 1910 - 1979, Delbert was the only child of Van B. & Margaret (Cottrill) Johnson. He is from the large Sharp/Cottrill line of Hendison & Mary (Sharp) Cottrill of Vinton County, Ohio.
Cottrill, Lemuel M., 1853 - 1927 son of Hendison & Mary (Sharp)Cottrill, was born near Albany in Vinton Co., Ohio, Sept. 26, 1853, departed this life at his home, Nov. 24, 1927. He was united in marriage to Miss Rose Anne Molihan, Apr. 24, 1879, and to this union were born five children.

Cottrill, Walter L., 1892 - 1970 son of Lemuel & Rosanna (Molihan)Cottrill. He married Rosalie
Cottrill, Rosalia, 1910 - 1996 wife of Walter Cottrill (I have no other information about them)
