Isaac FRIZZELL b.Nov 2,1823-Kirkwood Township, Belmont County, Ohio-d.March 11,1844-Liberty Twp.,Putnam Co.,Ohio. The couple married
March 11,1844 in Franklin Co.,Ohio. On their marriage certificate she is listed as DUST, though her maiden name may very well be
DURST/DERST/DARST of Virginia. It should be noted that Margareth Dust FRIZZELL was the legal land owner, and not her husband Isaac on
land records I have found in Putnam Co. Frizzell, Isaac b.Nov 2,1823-Kirkwood Township, Belmont County, Ohio-d.March 11,1844-Liberty Twp.,Putnam Co.,Ohio.. married Margareth DUST b.Sep.,16,1828-Virginia-d.June 23,1892-Liberty Twp.,Putnam Co.,Ohio-married The couple married March 11,1844 in Franklin Co.,Ohio. This couple had 16 children born 1845-1872. 4 girls, and 12 boys. The couple lived in Franklin Co.,Jackson Twp. from abt.1844 until about 1876 time frame, where the family then went to Putnam Co. Isaac had served in the Civil War, and received a GAR Marker by his headstone. Private-Co.H,88th OVI- on 18 July 1863 at the age of 29 Mustered out on 03 July 1865 in Camp Chase, OH .When he returned Isaac was a day worker at various jobs, thus the reason the family did not stay in one location for his whole life,and the land in Putnam Co. would be registered to her. Isaac was the son of Thomas FRIZZELL b.1790-MD & Mary MIDKIFF b.1802(PA).Isaac was raised in Belmont Co.,Kirkwood Twp. until about 1840's, when he went to Franklin Co., perhaps seeking work. |
