I would like to present my readings of the Fredonia Cemetery. This cemetery contains burials that are more recent than the one near the village. The readings are at this point preliminary and not read in any order. Hope to return next summer to read completely. I did notice the cemetery is very large and well cared for, grass mowed & trimmed. There is a cast iron fenced along the complete span of the cemetery at the front. The cemetery is very nicely planned, would estimate the cemetery to be approximately 4 acres. There was almost no damage to stones except a few older ones from weatherization. Nearly all the memorials here are readable. This initial reading will not be in any order, but simply a sampling of loved ones buried here. Will at a future date, try to organize them into proper rows and sections. This cemetery is divided into 4 sections. There's a left (north area), center area, right (south area) and back (east area), these areas are divided by the gravel lane that enters and circles the cemetery. I will be listing everything within the boundary of the gravel lane as center section. Here are my preliminary readings, and for the moimment they are alphabetized, to make them easier for you to search. 20 July, 2003, 23 June, 2005, Robert M. Sizelove, Sr.©
