Amspaugh, Edna M., 1906 - 1979 Edna Mae Shupe, born 03 March 1906 at Clear Creek Twp., Fairfield Co., OH, oldest of 5 children born to Gust T. & Mary S. (Kinser) Shupe. My beloved maternal grandmother, and first wife of Robert A. Vanfossen (buried at Somerset, with his second wife), Edna & Robert VF were married 1923, mother of Ruth M. and Donald I. Vanfossen. Edna was second wife of Emmett Amspaugh, they married 1946. She died at Licking Memorial Hosp., Newark, Licking Co., O. on 5 Aug. 1979. Long time member and past Senior Regent Loyal Order of the Moose post #434, Lancaster, OH. |
Amspaugh, Emmett A., 1891 - 1985 Emmett was born in Fairfield Co., O., 14 Feb. 1891, son of John D. & Mary Elizabeth (Vought) Amspaugh, and he died 09 July 1984 at Newark, Licking Co., O. Emmett was first married to Addie Stout, 30 Oct. 1911, she died in 1945, 2nd marriage to Edna (Shupe) Vanfossen on 18 Sept. 1946 at Basil, O. Long time member of Moose & Elks Lodges in Lancaster, OH. He was a life time farmer, operated a Baker steam engine when young man, worked for I. J. Collins (founder of Anchor Hocking), Fairfield Stock Farm, for many years. |
