Williams, Anson, died Mar. 28, 1847, aged 65y'rs 5mo's 12d's He was the founder of Williamsville, which was located on both sides of the highway south of Orange Rd. The cemetery is located on the east side of State Route 23, across from where Kingswood Memorial Garden is presently located. A historical plaque for Williamsville has been placed there. The cemetery is well maintained by the Orange Twp. Trustees, but there is no sign for it, in order to protect it from vandals. |
