Adams, Jacob, 1844 - 1899; Barbara, 1844 - 1923 Jacob died Dec. 10, 1899 & Barbara died Apr. 2, 1923 (both in Cleveland). Jacob & Barbara's daughter Barbara, married Frank seitz, the son of Jacob Seitz. |
Seitz, Jacob, 1844 - 1922 -Father- Jacob C. Seitz was born on Nov. 7, 1844 in Germersheim, Pfalz, Bayern, Germany to Wilhelm & Mariae Josephae (Kaemmerer) Seitz. He immigrated to America in Sept. 1867, settling in Cleveland, OH. He arranged for Catherine Gross, from the same town to join him in the fall of 1868. They were married on Dec. 14, 1868 in St Peter's Catholic Church, Cleveland, OH. They had 5 children. Jacob died Dec. 24, 1922 at his home in Cleveland, at the age of 78. Jacob & Catherine were married 54 years. (section New lot 328, part all) |
Seitz, Catherine, 1844 - 1922 -Mother- Catherine Gross was born on Oct. 5, 1846 in Germersheim, Pfalz, Bayern, Germany to Theabald & Margaret (Kraemer) Gross. Catherine, wife of Jacob Seitz, died at her home in Cleveland on July 11, 1936, at the age of 89 and is buried next to her husband. |
Seitz, Katherine. 1877 - 1965 -Sister- Katherine (or Kate as she was known), daughter of Jacob & Catherine Seitz, was born Oct. 29, 1877 in Cleveland. She died Jan. 28, 1965 at the age of 87 in Cleveland and is buried next to her parents. She never married. |
Seitz, William J., 1869 - 1949 -Father- William J., son of Jacob & Catherine (Gross) Seitz, was born Sept. 8, 1869 in Cleveland. He married Frances M. VonParis on May 21, 1895 in Cleveland. They had two children that survived to adulthood. Will died Mar. 9, 1949 in Cleveland at the age of 79. He is buried in the family plot. |
Seitz, Frances M., 1870 - 1928 -Mother- Frances VonParis, wife of William J. Seitz, was born in Ohio. Frances was only 57 when she died, Mar. 31, 1928 in Cleveland. She is buried next to her husband. |
