| Mary Gish Hordan Stephens, b. 10 July 1802 in VA, d. 29 Sept. 1872 My great-great grandmother & Great-great nieces were the actresses Dorothy & Lillian Gish. Mary is dau. of John & Mary Wagner Gish, born in PA. Married 1st. to William Jordan, May 5th 1820. William died in 1837, she then married Rev. John Stephens, a Methodist preacher. He was a descendant of Daniel Boone. |
