I found this cemetery located on Route 50 southwest of Fayettesville and about 1 mile southwest of Vera Cruz, on right (NW) side of road. Tombstone of Elias is in good shape, readable and standing about 4 feet tall. This cemetery is known as Cramer/Cranmer Cemetery. Elias & Sarah Long are my gggrandparents. Overview images #1 & #2 |
Elias Long, "In memory of Elias Long, died Jan. 1, 1893, aged 78y 2m 14d" [close view of memorial of Elias] |
Sarah A. Long, [only the name was readable, she was the wife of Elias, born Oct. 16, 1816, and died April 3, 1853] |
Ezra Long, son of E. & S.A. Long, died July 12, 1849, aged 12yrs. 6m. & 6ds. |
These memorials located near the center of this small cemetery |
