The tombstone photos have been generously donated by Geoffery Long on 20 May, 2004.
Powhatan Point, Ohio is in the southeast corner of Belmont County. It's a small community on the Ohio River. The cemetery is clearly visable from route 7, on the north end of town.

Long, Mary A., 1863 - 1901 -Mother-; John W., 1858 - 1937 -Father- Mary Ann (Brown), wife of John W. Long.
Long, Lucy, 1884 - 1970 Lucy is the daughter of John W. & Mary Ann (Brown) Long. She worked as a nurse in Moundsville, never married.
Long, George A., West Virginia PFC Air Service, World War I, Feb. 26, 1892 - Jan. 3, 1968 George A. Long, 1894 - 1968, was the son of John W. & Mary Ann (Brown) Long. The birth year on his marker is beleived to beincorrect. Louise (Rodgers) Long, his wife, 1899 - 1930. Click here to view her memorial. Louise is buried at Greenlawn Cem., Clarksburg, WV. George A. & Louise also have a son, Kenneth R. Long, RM3, U.S. Navy, WWII, Jun 13, 1926 - Jul. 21, 2000, buried in Fort Logan Natl. Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
Brown, William M., 1832 - 1897; Malissa, 1842 - 1890; Evert, 1880 - 1890; Ella, 1882 - 1899 William Moreland Brown, the father of Mary Ann Brown. Mary Malissa (Kinney), wife of William M. Brown. William & Malissa are the parents of William Evert Brown & Margaret Ella Brown.
Brown, Arch, 1884 - 1936; Mary, 1883 - 1923 Archibald was the son of William & Malissa Brown. Mary Alice (Duvall), wife of Archibald Brown.
Brown, Jesse, 1887 - 1970 -Father-; Geraldine, 1899 - 1995 -Mother- Jesse was a son of William & Malissa Brown. Geraldine (Mellott) was wife of Jesse Brown.
Brown, Isaac, 1878 - 1960; Cora I., 1889 - 1934; Russell F., 1912 - 1982 Isaac was a son of William & Malissa Brown. Cora Inez (Chance), wife of Isaac Brown. Isaac & Cora I., are the parents of Russell F. Brown.
Willison, Wilford Marion, 1854 - 1935; Rosella Evelyn, 1861 - 1938 Rosella Evelyn (Brown), wife of Wilford Willison. Rosella was a daughter of William & Malissa Brown.
