In late 1996 Daniel Potter found an old scrapbook in a used bookstore in California. He discovered that it was filled with obituaries, wedding announcements and many other newspaper clippings concerning many Ohio families. Daniel has very generously donated this scrapbook to the USGenWeb archives. We are busily transcribing this book so that it can be shared with genealogists. This scrapbook is now in the possession of Gwen Oliver. Scanned images of the actual clippings are available. Please put "Scrapbook Image" in your subject line to help identify these requests. Please include the scanned image file name so it can be found easily. We will keep posting these transcriptions as they become available, so keep checking back as there are hundreds of articles. When the date of the article is known it will be posted here. If you have knowledge of any date of publication that isn't listed please email Gwen Oliver so the infomation can be entered.
